Why Do You Need A Website?

Here’s Why!

Why You Need A Website

Does Your Business Google?

If you have a website, a Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media for your business then your business will Google. The question is: Does it Google well enough to get the results you’re looking for.

Reasons Why You Need A Website

Here are just a few reasons why your business needs a website:

  • Grow Your Business: Websites help to make your business show up in Google when potential customers search for the products and/or services that you offer.
  • Tell Your Clients And Customers Where To Find You: After all, who looks in a phone book these days? Nearly everyone carries a cell phone today and it is much easier to simply Google what you are looking for rather than find a phone book (physical or electronic) to look it up in the Yellow Pages. It would cost a fortune to get listed in the Yellow Pages for every category that someone might be looking for.
  • Your Competitors Have One: When your competitors have a website and you do not you are giving them the advantage to reach new customers and clients that otherwise may have come to you.
  • Sell Products: With more people buying products online due to COVID precautions both now and in the future an online store helps you to get your share of sales. You can set up delivery terms or allow for curbside pickup. Why let big online stores like Amazon and Walmart take sales away from you?
  • Put Your Menu Online: I wish I had a dollar for every time I saw this comment on social media “Do they have an online menu?” If you are a restaurant and do not have your menu online you are risking patrons searching for a restaurant that does. You can set up delivery boundaries and allow pickup at your restaurant to limit contact. You can even take payment online!

All website designs cover the cost of one-year domain purchase if you do not already have one, hosting fees for a year, backend updates, basic SEO (search engine optimization), and more! See Price List for details. I will work with you to customize your package to fit your budget.

    Other Services Offered

Listed below are some of the other services MTech Services Websites For Small Business offers. If you have a particular requirement contact me for a free consultation and let’s see what we can do. I love to get creative to make something work.

    Blogging

Blogging is an important tool because it allows you to keep the interest of your customers.  Blogging can be used to promote sales and events or to provide interesting articles related to your business.  Content is the number one method to raise search engine results (Google ranking) for a business.  MTech can teach you how to use the blogging software if you want to do your posts yourself or you can provide the content and I can put it into the blog for you.

    Social Media Connections

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media are also methods to improve your search engine ranking.  MTech Services can connect your website to your social media accounts to display their feeds automatically on your website.  Did you notice that in the column to the right you can see my Facebook Reviews and Facebook Page feed?

I can provide assistance with setting up your Facebook Page or group. It is important to make sure that your profile picture and cover picture look good (not cut off) on both a desktop computer or a mobile device. Photos that are cut off do not look professional. I can help you get it right.

    Free Small Business Support Group

MTech Services Small Business Support Group

I am working on growing this support group on Facebook. I have used a feature that I don’t see very often in other groups called Modules.

A module allows posts to be organized and more easily found. For example, I have one module where I put together a write up about each member’s business including a link to their website. In other words FREE ADVERTISING!

Another module is for links to member’s Facebook pages. Join now by clicking on the picture.

Each member of the group is encouraged to browse through each of the modules and to consider making purchases from members of the group. Everyone is also encouraged to visit each member’s Facebook page and to click on the Like button. More likes mean that each business will be able to get their posts in front of more people. Do you remember the shampoo commercial that goes “They told two friends, then they told two friends, and they told two friends…” Maybe I’m too old or maybe you’re too young if you don’t remember it LOL. The point is that when someone likes a page not only does your post go on their news feed but their friends are also able to see it.
